WAPDA Conference May 9-10, 2012

Welcome to the Washington Private Duty Association (WAPDA)

WAPDA was formed in 2005 to advance the field of private duty home care in Washington State and support member home care agencies. WAPDA is a state chapter of the National Private Duty Association (NPDA).

WAPDA's Vision and Goals are to:

  • Set industry standards for private duty home care.
  • Foster ethical business practices
  • Educate the public about private duty home care and other direct care models
  • Develop best practices within the home care industry
  • Have a strong voice in Olympia to advocate both for our members and our client families
  • Work effectively with other home care and health care related organizations to better serve our clients and community
  • Provide support resources among private duty agencies.
  • Provide educational and training opportunities for members and the community at large
